Microsoft has announced the end of support date for Windows 7 and Server 2008

Two of Microsoft's most popular operating systems are less than 6 months from their end of life.  All good things must come to an end and Microsoft has announced that after January 14th 2020 Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for PC's running Windows 7 or servers running Server 2008.

So what does this mean if you still use Windows 7 or Server 2008?  Well, they will continue to operate as normal.  However, when Microsoft withdraws support and updates, you will be increasingly vulnerable from a security perspective. Simply put, without these updates, your machines and your data aren't safe.
